10217050c8 Fix completer.c FIXME, and invalid pointer to pointer conversion. 
As mentioned in the previous patch, I grepped for "\*\*) &" and found
one hit in completer.c.

I was about to post a patch that simply made
current_demangling_style_string const, and cast away constness at the
xfree site.  However, looking deeper, it seem to be there's a lot of
dead code in the file.

First, all external callers of set_demangling_style are found in the
stabs reader, commented out for over 12 years:

I don't think it's likely we'll ever make the older mangling schemes
work for stabs.  If we do, we can rediscuss the approach then.

Then, set_demangling_command has special handling for unknown
demangling styles, but "set demangle-style" is an enum command, and
with those, the user can only specify a known enumeration value, by
design:

  (gdb) set demangle-style gangnam-style
  Undefined item: "gangnam-style".


This patch removes all that dead code, then makes
current_demangling_style_string point to an element of
demangling_style_names, as the FIXME suggests, and then makes
current_demangling_style_string, removing the need for the 'const char
**' cast.

28e7fd6234 Update years in copyright notice for the GDB files. 
Two modifications:
  1. The addition of 2013 to the copyright year range for every file;
  2. The use of a single year range, instead of potentially multiple
     year ranges, as approved by the FSF.

bb6247c6b2 * buildsym.c (start_subfile, patch_subfile_names), demangle.c 
(set_demangling_style, set_demangling_command): Use savestring not
	strdup.  We were not dealing properly with a NULL return from
	strdup, and were not declaring strdup (the system header may or
	may not have it).

719d9abbd2 * command.c (add_set_cmd, no_just_help_class_command): Change 
to make this the sfunc, not cfunc, since that is how we call it.
	* command.h: Comment difference between sfunc and cfunc.
	* demangle.c (set_demangling_command): Add third arg since that
	is how it is called.
	(_initialize_demangler): Use sfunc, not cfunc, for
	set_demangling_command, since that is how it is called.
	Remove show_demangling_command; it has no effect.

199b2450f6 Change the stream argument to _filtered to GDB_FILE *. 
Change all references to stdout/stderr to gdb_stdout/gdb_stderr.

Replace all calls to stdio output functions with calls to
corresponding _unfiltered functions (`fprintf_unfiltered')

Replaced calls to fopen for output to gdb_fopen.

Added sufficient goo to utils.c and defs.h to make the above work.

The net effect is that stdio output functions are only directly used
in utils.c.  Elsewhere, the _unfiltered and _filtered functions and
GDB_FILE type are used.

In the near future, GDB_FILE will stop being equivalant to FILE.

The semantics of some commands has changed in a very subtle way:
called in the right context, they may cause new occurences of
prompt_for_continue() behavior.  The testsuite doesn't notice anything
like this, though.

Please respect this change by not reintroducing stdio output
dependencies in the main body of gdb code.  All output from commands
should go to a GDB_FILE.

Target-specific code can still use stdio directly to communicate with
targets.

45364c8a2a * c-exp.y (parse_number): Change high_bit to unsigned. 
* demangle.c:  Change all references to cfront to ARM, since the
	actual algorithm is the one specified in the Annotated Reference
	Manual.  This was confusing users into thinking that full cfront
	support was implemented.
	* dwarfread.c (CFRONT_PRODUCER):  Remove, was never really used.
	* eval.c (evaluate_subexp):  For STRUCTOP_PTR pass the arg type
	directly to lookup_struct_elt_type, which will do the
	dereferencing itself.
	* gdbtypes.c (lookup_struct_elt_type):  Expand comments.  Fix
	NULL dereferencing bug for unnamed structs, comment out
	questionable code.

automatically select demangling style.
